Identifiying Type

Hi

 

I have removed the steering wheel trying to locate which type, but can,t see it anywhere!! the car is a 89/90 sierra (E plate) column horn.

checked the switches but no help.

 

I need to identify the type before i start wiring. any ideas!!!

Take the stalks off the column - the numbers will be on them somewhere.

 

IIRC the 83 stalks had the horn push on a stalk whereas the later ones don't. However there are a number of variants as far as the pins go - best to look at the actual pins once the stalks are off the car.

E Plate was 1987-88

ooopppps its G reg not E typo error. I will take off the switches tomorrow and see if i can pin it down. thanks guys
