as the title sayes, where is the best place to buy a new set of coil overs for my 2B ?(got zimmers on and getting tired)I've looked at GBS @£367.66 is there any where else? and are spax any better that the others?

Got my Gaz shocks from Dampertech after seeing good reports on here. I spoke to Dave there and gave him all the car details and he took it from there. First class service.

Got Protechs on the front and Gaz on the back. The Gaz sometimes squeak.

I got personnal service from Protech although they are a few pounds dearer. ( I ordered them too short ( same length as the original Zimmers) and they sent me longer eye ends to fit properly).

They always have a stand at the shows.

I bought from Dave at Damper tech.

 

Great guy really good service + he is always at the shows for follow up / back up.

 

Changed my springs postage free when I ordered the wrong rate in error.

 

I bought 300lb and needed 350lb.

I have AVO on mine. Good shocks but the staff at AVO were rude and condescending last time I spoke to them and made me feel they didn't want to deal with me. They won't have to in future!

Protech or Dampertech for me in future.

Dampertech local to me. Dave is a nice, chatty guy (Even when not giving him money!). I've found his service excellent. If anyone is wanting to collect from Dampertech and struggling with finding them, PM me, I may be able to meet you and take you there.

i have avo's on the front (they are local to me) and some from dampertech on the back

dampertech are far nicer to deal with, and offer a better customer service
