2b For Sale

I would like to offer my 2b for sale at £5500

 

It was completed by myself and a friend in 2004 and it has the following spec:

 

3.5L Rover V8 (rebuilt about 3k miles ago with head gasket,rings, seals, high lift cam) - with twin SU carbs. Now around 190bhp.

New water pump

5speed box

LSD from Sierra xr4i

High ratio steering rack

4 pt harness

Nice leather dash with individual gauges

Large fuel tank (holds at least 50 litres)

Stainless straight through exhaust system - very loud

Fly screen

Made to measure radiator + electric fan (summer traffic is no problem)

Brand new alloys 15" - black with chrome trim

Carbon Fibre effect cycle wings

Yellow and black colour scheme (incl the bonnet)

Non- age related plate (YCZ8765)

Mileage is about 6k

MOT runs to about May 2011 - it has never failed one yet.

 

The car runs like a dream - it always starts first time and is very fast. The front end is still on the sliding pillar arrangement but it does have new bushes and the handling is fairly neutral helped by the LSD. Ihave the original screen and supports but they were never fitted. There is no wet weather gear and I have been caught out in heavy rain a couple of times without any detrimental effect to the dash or any electrics.

 

I dont like to add up my build costs but they are probably getting on for about £9k.

Alternatively if you have something to swop which has a small body, a big engine and 4 seats so I can take Mrs and 2 kids (928 S4?) then I would be interested.
