Engine Tuning Kent

I am wanting advice as to who is the best engine tuner/rolling road specialist in West Kent. I fear the twin 45's may need a bit of adjustment as the popping and banging when backing off has increased a bit. I did find a small leak in the exhaust where the silencer joins the pipe and cured that one. Checked the rest and all tight. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi there I use Race Power at Borough Green 01732 886622. They set up my weber 48s on my cvh. I hope this helps.

Went and had a look for Race Power as I was going past and it is all shut up - yet another company gone. So still looking for some recommendations

Ive always used SANSPEED in Bexleyheath....may be a bit far, but they rally two of their own classic Escorts fitted with hairy Pintos

Have you tried Powerspeed in Ashford?, the SKCC (www.southernkitcars.com) guys are having an open morning there on the 13th March, might be worth popping along with it to see what they say, I know a lot of the people on the forum have tried them with good success

 

Check out the SKCC site and join us on the 13th, I another RR session at Emerald a few weeks back and Sam from Powerspeed came along with us for the experience, they dont like to just get the customers thru the door and out the other side!

actually a top ref would also be Aron at HT Racing back of Brands Hatch, what the guy doesnt know about ford 4 pots and setting them up ......he is very very good.

 

 

@ the poster who said that Race Power were no longer was that a definbite no longer or a looked like they were no longer? ( Paul does keep strange hours sometimes)......

When I visited, the name had been removed from the board and when I rang the number it just rang out. I asked a man from a neighbouring unit and he said they had gone. After all that I presume they must have packed up.

hi there is a company in eastbourne / hastings area advertises on ebay as oldtimeracer i dont know if he any good ive spoken to him a couple times when ive bought some bits, he semms to know his stuff and does alot of fords so might be worth trying cheers nick
