Hi can anyone tell me if a plastic fuel tank would pass the Iva test or dose it have to be metal thanks for any help you can give

I believe a plastic one will do providing you have the correct documentation to go with it i.e. it was built by a recognised manufacture of plastic tanks and not by joe blogs round the corner.

I think the regs go further than that and require certification that the material used is fuel resisitant up to the specified regs
