Windscreen S7 Dolomite Based

Hi all,

I am a new member here and bought a Robin Hood Super 7 based on a Dolomite 1850...i am looking for a complete windscreen kit - can anybody help me which one fits for my s7?I am coming from germany - maybe my english is not the very best :-) best regards marco

GBS. (Great British Sportscars) do a screen surround and glass, it would be worth measuring your scuttle where the screen will fit, then you can measure the screen surround supplied by GBS to see if it will fit.

The original "Build a Sportscars for £250" shows a method of constructing your own frame from alloy U section, then make a template for the glass which can be cut from flat laminate glass (Land Rover?)

I have a dolomite S7 and my screen looks like it was made using the original method described above. Aliminium U channel with steel T brackets at each end. Have just stripped it down to tidy up the very ugly brackets.

 

Happy to send you some photos if that helps though you may be best going for the screen from GBS if it fits. And don't worry about your English - much better than my deutsch!

thanks for your help here in this forum-i am very happy that i found this place!!!

I think i'll order the GBS kit and probably modify the frame As you desribed...

To cheesewr-i 'll be very happy to get some pics-it will Be very helpful for me to see how the screen has to Be placed...
