Fuel Pump Wiring

Just finish getting the old silicone sealant out of my tank and fitted a new sender unit and gasket. Thought it might be worth fitting an inline filter and 12V fuel pump. The pump seems simple enough just one red and one black lead, but I don't know where to take the 12V supply from, any suggestions?

after my pump lost power out side a spares shop, went back inside got some wire ,fuse & a switch and hot wired it straight from the battery, now I have a kill switch panel that it's wired through, never did find the break in the original wire

Good plan to wire it through a relay, either linked to oil pressure or a bump sensitive relay. Both to try to get round the problem of stopping the pump in the event of a crash if you are unlucky enough to be injured or unconscious and unable to switch off ignition. As the mechanical pump on a pinto is good enough for twin 45's I would stick with that.
