Pinto Timing

Fitted accuspark to my pinto engine.

it doesnt have a vacuum advance on the dizzy.

what should i set the timing to ??

Depends on spec anything from 8deg standard to 14deg tuned, mine was 14deg

the engine is in standard tune dude.nothing special going on.

Between 8-10 degrees static advance for a standard pinto, however I've heard people saying that they end up closer to 10 degrees than 8 degrees on a stadard pinto cam.

 

When you change the cam duration, this then alters the static advance.....
