Hi all,

 

With regret I am putting my Robin Hood 2B Plus up for sale.

 

Since relocating to West Yorkshire I have been unable to find the time to use the car and want someone who will get the enjoyment out of it. The car is located near Grantham, Lincolnshire.

 

So for the details...

 

The car was built professionally by Mark Boothman of Automotive Solutions and Racing (http://www.automotiv...cing.com/2b.htm) in 2008. The car was registered on 1/1/2009 on a Q plate.

 

Engine:

Ford Sierra 1.8L pinto circa 1986 with the standard pierburg carb upgraded to Weber. The engine was stripped down and all necessary parts replaced including the timing belt. It features a shortened sump for ground clearance. Since passing the SVA the car has done a mere 316 miles.

 

Gearbox:

5 Speed Manual Type 9 gearbox with new clutch cable fitted on 29/2/2012 and ensure of smooth running by Gainsborough Corner Garage.

 

Suspension:

Upgraded suspension to Gaz coilovers and shocks with fully adjustable ride height and damper stiffness.

 

Bodywork:

Yellow GRP panels with Stainless Steel metalwork. Upgraded Team Dynamics alloys in black. Black soft boot cover with space available for a boot build if wanted. Full size spare wheel. Very good condition overall. Full alligator bonnet.

 

Interior:

2 Rage Bucket seats with 4 point TRS Harnesses. Upgraded MOMO steering wheel.

 

I have just Taxed the car for six months and it passed its MOT on 29/2/2012 needing nothing but the windscreen taking off to get it through. It has only ever been driven in dry conditions hence no windscreen wipers fitted. Garaged since bought. I'm an Automotive Engineer and have rigorously maintained this car to a very high standard.

 

The car is ready to drive away and will provide someone with fun for the summer with nothing to do.

 

This car has cost me nearly £8000 to build with lots of receipts. I am looking for £5500 or nearest offer.

Took it for a spin last weekend with the glorious weather. Ran really well. Even saw another Hood around the back roads of Langar.

 

Someone was meant to come see it but never came in the end. Disappointed but gives me the chance to get it out again
