Thanks snotfart - I'd better get looking for a dial gauge to borrow or make a dead stop.

Thanks.

Only the latest megajolt has software correction

You can't software correct unless you know where TDC is

Do it once, do it properly

If you ever need help, or just want to pop over for a cuppa and chat, feel free! Im only a stones throw away from you!

Or we could get our crew over to his one evening steamer?

Sounds like a plan! hs88 r u up.for it? We can.organise an evening and we all come to ures!!

Nick (shaft) very kindly sorted my Megajolt and trigger wheel up, checked and adjusted the cam timing with his array of dial things, checked the piston tdc with his paper dial thing, made sure the trigger wheel was put on correctly, fired up and it ran so much smoother

It ran that smooth only 3 cylinders were needed x

besides one brief moment... the pinto has always ran on four.... besides the want for more power (we all have that obsession if we admit it) i still think the pinto is unbeatable for reliability..... i have really abused mine and it still runs, i have seen Dan drive so i know he will have ragged it all over...... but.... if i moved to 8pots i could lose one and hardley notice

Im goin 8pot cos when all else fails, it will make a good coffee table (to go with my pic-nic bench).

i reckon you should put a rail round your picnic bench... you could attatch an awning.. perfect for camping... exmo camper van

c'Mon lads, lets stay on topic please. We don't want to offend anybody. ;)

Thanks for the kind offer of a visit. Tuesday evening would suit me.

To keep on topic inbox me and we can arrange.

Sorry, Tuesday is better actually since I may be moving the car on Wednesday

I'm ok for any eve this week, just let me know when and I'll meet up.

I'd suggest meeting at McDonald's in Ripley as this is enroute to Derby for

most of us.

Where abouts do you live HS88? (Roughly on an open forum).
