Boot Cover Material

If you want something that will last then proper fabrics like Mohair, Duck or Hooding Vinyl which has very little stretch from Woolies Trim are expensive but excellent quality. Can you wait till the Exeter show as the upholstery people will be there with better prices.

Thanks Nigel.

Saw the hooding vinyl at woolies but wasn't sure. Unfortunately the exeter show is too far from me. I am in the northwest.

I checked out local suppliers for vinyl but it stretched and didn't seem very durable.

i bought some of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320748580588;jsessionid=E03BA6157B01C5B89808C6DBFC7E41F2?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D320748580588%26_rdc%3D1 which annoyingly is out of stock in black but they do have other colours.

I figured i could make a cover for less than £10 which should do the job for now. Obv not as good as proper hooding material but when it gets tatty just make a new one.

this vinyl is quite thick stuff although does have a bit of stretch. If it saggs too much will prob just sew some glassfibre poles in from a kite or something hth.
