has any body thought of / tried adding a little sump onto the zero fuel tank ? i was thinking if you had a sump welded on with the fuel pump outlet at the bottom then you wouldnt need the external swirlpot and extra fuel pump?

i would like to try and get away from the swirlpot if possible as it just makes life a little more difficult!

any one tried this atall/ any thoughts if it would work or not? or if not any suggestions to to eliminate it from the set up?

i thought most manufacturers used intank pumps and baffle plates? anyway, If its that easy surely GBSC could just add a sump on to there tanks and forget the swirl pot completley?

Yes, munufactures do as they are plastic tanks, but before plastic tanks most had an external pump,

The tank GBS make is very basic and is there to get you going, its fine for normal driving but any track work would require a swirl pot, I threw my tank I got with the kit away and had a better designed one made for very little money.
