Suspension Bolts

Just up-grading my front top wishbones with the GBS handling pack and noticed my suspension bolts could do with renewal. I have GAZ shocks with 10mm bolts for top mount and 12mm for bottom. Can anyone recommend a good supplier?

local hardware or engineering shop or try ebay use nyloc nuts as well

Think CMA meant check hole size in shocks; ours were 1/2" not 12mm;so we used 1/2" UNF 8.8 bolts.

All good advise you surely must have a fastner supplier close to you ,alot cheaper than any one if you pay cash !,this includes e-bay etc mower man

ye they wont be metric my gaz are 1/2"

Make sure you use boltsas appossed to set screws i.e. threads should not go upto the head of 6the bolt there should be a shank which is not threaded! mower man

Excellent just about to ask the question about the shank.

And make it belt & braces by having the shank protrude on the nut side with washers to cover any remaining shank & the first couple of threads; no bits will be bearing on thread creasts then!!
