12V Regulator Needed For Dash?

I intend replacing sierra dash with a set of instruments from a 70s MG B, tacho fuel temp oil pressure , the question being do I need a regulated 12v+ supply for the temp and fuel gauges & possibly the tacho ( it needs 12v+ and neg side of coil)

all help and advice appreciated

You will need a 10vdc stabiliser for fuel and water temp. Take a look at this link:-http://www.holden.co.uk/refDocs/0611.pdf. I managed to find a solid state one on Ebay, but can't see any at the moment.

Check if the instruments are positive or negative earth?

i used a 10v regulator off ebay, works perfectly. cost me £8.
