Hi Crunch,

Zero

Basically you make it fit.

It depends what 2B chassis you have!

It depends where you fit the engine and how much prop shaft engagement you have.

On mine 2B/04 the engine is aft the nose cone.

Go get the hood, best option.

Hi Again Crutch,

I should have asked what sump is fitted and what if any modifications to the sump, shortened?

Lots of variables.

it has the standard silvertop sump, but i will shorten for clearance. I may have to go and get the bonnet as i am just not convinced. I could do with a rough bonnet depth guide i.e how deep the bonnet is from side rails to the top.

Hi Again Crutch,

Sorry the news has not been definitive, -

The 2b/04, crocodile bonnet can be fixed slightly forward, then the sides pushed in and a few mm gained in under bonnet clearance. The central web can be cut down a bit.

The 2B is best thought as a bespoke car and not a kit car as in a kit of bits that just bolts together.

I believe the 2B DOHC chassis has more head height under the bonnet.

..... and of course it goes on. All 2B's but not 2B if can laugh.
