Who would be interested in a National meet in september at a field in Hollowell Northamptonshire, Subject to the Hollowell steam committee allowing us to use their field. There are showers and toilets on site and a very large area we can play in. The date I have in mind at the moment is September 28th to the 29th. This is subject to Hollowell letting us use the facility and interest from members.

With enough interest from us and fellow clubs this could easily evolve into a cracking Annual National Car Meet.

Marquee, bar, bands etc...Obviously all still subject to approval from the Hollowell committee, but definitely an opportunity for us to create something special for car enthusiasts to enjoy a long weekend of socialising.

I think to keep this thread short and manageable, if people comment their interest, a mod, admin etc can add their name to a list at the start of this thread and then delete their post.

This should keep it short and simple whilst also giving a clear view of who's interested without it growing into several pages.

Thanks,

Nick.

C'Mon people, we need more interest than this to even consider approaching the committee with the club's proposal...

Central location for most, cracking location etc...

Members ideas on things they'd like welcome. Many minds as they say etc...

I have spoken to the Owners of the field and yes we can have the use of it and the toilet facility's that are there, the showers are not available due to the water cylinders being taken out after the steam show as they have been stolen in the past.

I'm really pleased that this is coming to life!!

Me and swmbo are definates! How do you want payment phil? Paypal would be easiest for us but obviously there is the fee...

I can't speak for everyone but personally I wouldn't mind paying £11 to cover the paypal fee?
