Zero New Type Exhaust And Rear Wheel-Arch.

I've been looking at fitting the rear arches on my Zero and it looks like the new type exhaust I have is sitting too far back and will not allow me to fit the arch properly.

 

Have any of you come across this problem and if you did what did you to resolve the problem. I'm not able to push it back as it is tight against the manifold. I am thinking that I'll have to cut a section out of the end or the manifold but I'd like to know if this is a common issue or am I getting something wrong.

Pete - i had to cut some off the manifold section that goes into the silencer.

Hi yes you do have to cut the end off the manifold I can not remember how much,I placed the silencer on top of the fitted manifold and marked we're I needed to cut

I thought it was the right solution but I wanted to check before I go cutting lumps out of the manifold.

I think I was a bit too keen as well, I've fitted the pipe and the hager so that will have to be moved as well, Dohh!
