5 Speed Gear Box

Hi,I've been offered a 5 speed box for my Robin Hood.the box Is from a sierra 1.8,(cvh) will this marry up to my pinto engine if not can I change the bell housing on my 4 speed ???? Or would I need a pinto type 5 speed bell housing ???? Thanks Scott

yes, that'll fit. You'll need a new prop and clutch i believe, and possibly reposition the gearbox mount? It's a fairly common question, the answer should be on here somewhere.

Might not need a new prop, just changed the 4 speed out of the Beauford for a 5 speed Sierra one and it fitted to the original clutch and the prop fitted also, just needed to drill the chassis where the gearbox mount had gone back around 11/2 "
