Petrol Additive

Non use over Winter? - I find there are some great days over winter - they might be cold but with clear blue skies there is nothing better than a trip out into the countryside.

What better way to keep petrol fresh in the tank than to burn it in the engine under 93 million miles of clear sky (also keep the toes warm)

Guest mower man

There is stuff available ,it 's mainly aimed at 2 stroke fuel for medium long term storage i.e. lawn mowers over winter . snow blowers over summer my ops if its only small amounts drain it off as steamer says . Fuel reputably eats certain fuel hose and is more apparent since manf are putting biethanol in fuel if you want to purchase the stuff your local gardenmachinery specialist should be able to help . Personaly car wise I've never bothered or worried about it but I 'm very old school !! mowerman

We just purchased a triumph herald for the young un's to learn the fundamentals on, half a tank 3 years old, runs Lovelly. Although once it gets to the "enough" part of the fuel gauge we may give her a swill out
