Sorry boys, B&B's are so cheap when compared to the cost of campsites. I will be staying in one If I comedown. I just think a warm shower after a long drive is God sent.

Route I took last time. 1) Perth

2) Braemer and ballater ( Visited Royal Lochnagar distillery on the way)

3) Tomintoul

4) Glenlivet ( Visited Glenfidditch Distillery, speyside cooperage)

5) Elgin ( Visited Moray motor museum)

6) Inverness

7) Fort Augustus

8)Fort William ( Quite busy but should be getting quite now. )

9) Oban via Glen Coe( under-mountain hydro plant worth a visit)

9) Falkirk and Stirling ( visited Falkirk wheel)

Femster did a good route we drive a few of these roads all the time I'm happy to go with the routes that you guys want to do as this is something that you guys won't do very often I will give advice with any route you want to do there are a couple of roads that can't be missed out though but can be slotted into the route.

That picture was taken at the start of the dukes pass a fantastic stretch of road just after that picture was taken I raced a Astra VXR until he took fright lol

whiz we are open to advice on routes, femster if you know of some good clean b and bs i,m up for them, i,m always a little concerned by them as ive ended up in some right shat holes in the past when i worked away.

Route is still in planning but as Dan said all suggestions welcome including places of interest to visit, eating houses and ofcourse petroleum availability in the highlands esp those with Sunday opening's. Good news on the school kids returning to school so that should give a few mid week days of clear roads....

You're all welcome to chuck your kit bags etc in the Landy so you can travel Light, especially if 2 up.

On the petrol front, we can take Jerry Cans between us for emergency use and again, chuck them in the Landy, no worries.

I'm going to Le Mans this year. any one else going? Would be good to meet up with a few other "7"s . Going in a convoy of my Zero, an Exige, some 7 litre American thing and a few others plus support car. Going to be a fun trip as so far I've only done 150 miles since IVA......
