Sea Fishing Trip.....

Hi peeps, does anybody fancy doing a Sea Fishing trip this summer?

Was thinking from Grimsby / Bridlington area for a 10 / 12 hour trip?

Stop over in a B&B and make a weekend of it.

Most boats hold 12 / 14 fisherman so we should easily be able to make it a private trip....

Sounds like a laugh... But do they provide barf bags for those of us that don't have any sea legs?

 

Think I would spend more time over the side than fishing though.

go to the down wind side if your icky, when are you thinking of going ? bridlinton is a good place for place, cod, + flaties, i go fishing there off the harbor when ever swmbo goes to see her sisters

The fishing bit dosent interest me but would come anyway just for the trip out.

But Sea fishing and eating what you catch is good fun, especially when there's a good group of mates.

It's a great way to loose weight if suffering from up chuck --- lost 12 lbs in 3 days sailing on a 70foot schooner across Bay Of Biscay.

it will be a good excuse for me getting another rod only got a beach rod 18 ft, bit too long for a boat, swmbo wont even sit in my 2B let alone doing 260 mile round trip, might have to come in her car

Bridlington is the better venue for the weekend I think though.

 

Peter, if will be a tin top trip anyway mate. More than likely car sharing as well to share fuel costs etc.

 

When's the best time for you all?
