I'm 6ft6 and after fitting the pedal box for my zetec conversion i was to tall to turn the wheel, fitted a spacer after John made the suggestion. Sorted! £40 mind you!

It's the black bit between the silver bit and the wheel. It's 60mm. Cheaper than the rip off momo ones.

They come as standard equipment when you're 6' 6"

I got them same gap after fitting a quick release system on my 2b but being only 5'11" my fingers are too short

I'm sure my fingers will be fine, I've found there's a fair amount of bend in the stalks.
