Hankook Tyres Side Wall Cracks

Tin top failed it's MOT today. Hankook tyre walls cracking after three years. Won't be fitting them again. Anybody else had tyre problems with Hankook?

How old are the tyres though? They may have been fitted 3 years ago but how long where they made before that?

 

Have a look for a 4 digit number on the side wall, usually in a ring.

 

3409 for example means Week 34 in 2009.

I've been using hankook on the Bmw and a few mates too for over 10 years with no issue's ..although dropped on a set of dunlops once and got a flat

Noticed cracks in the sidewall and has mentioned I had em on 15months

But they were made nearly 2 years previous to me getting them
