Ford Column Switch Wiring

Has anyone by any chance have at hand simplified wiring diagrams for ford sierra column switches for lights, horn, indicators & wipers wiring, struggling to sort with only partial harness so maybe easier to just wire from start

It'll help if you identify the stalks you have by their part number first - early stalks are positive switching later ones are earth switching.

 

Post up the part numbers and you'll be away. You're looking for something like 83 BG ******, 87 BB ******, or 90 BB ******

 

Wiring for 83 BG would be this:

switch type is important if you are using the Ford loom.

 

If you have an after market loom, they usually live switch the relays, both switches can switch live.
