Having A Sierra V5 Means No Need For Iva?

Other sites such as Piston heads classified. In the classifieds of motoring mags.

On the whole, ads like these Tend to be more on the expensive side.

Always be weary of what model car you buy. Late model Robin hoods such as the lightweight were death traps.

Always best to get back on this site before you jump.

Your practical example in this case has proven the point.

Many thanks on this thread to Duck for his sharing of his valuable knowledge.

haha yeah that was not built for the track. As pointed out earlier it has a number plate holder for a start. Race cars don't need nice padded dashs and a fog light. Is it really a burton engine? it's still running the crappy 2b twin pipes?

As said walk away there is always another better one. Although the listing is better it still says 'or sierra v5' which implies that you can do iva or pretend it's a sierra. wrong wrong wrong. If they know that isn't the case they are liars and you won't know what else is wrong with the car or they truely don't know and you won't know what else is wrong with the car!

keep looking and ask as you have done about others

Why not visit Stoneleigh kit car show this coming bank holiday weekend. Have a chat with the guys in RHOCAR on the club stand and a good look at all the different Hoods that will be there.

Look fairly decent.

Me also thinks very iffy.

Maybe plates and chassis number used for something else.

Might even be a certain v6 on eBay late last year and twice again this year.

Which ones are you referring to?

like the one last month that nearly everyone was tell ing not to buy.

Even ended up in a stupid argument.

If mods not done to chassis etc.

You mean the lightweight? That was actually the last model that was released under the Robin Hood name (released 2005 and Robin Hood was sold to GBS in 2006).

Another funny one has shown up on eBay. Robin Hood and Westfield.

The geezer is openly saying he knows how much a westies log book is worth.

I think it would be worth buying them if the price is right.

Sell the Hood in parts if it's to much work. Then put the westie back on the road.

Oh for more space.

very nice car. Well done you.

Pity you didn't show it last time everyone was kicking them.

I could have done with some help then Snapper.

Not that I want another argument with anyone over it. Never again !!!
