If you just use anti vibe between pump and fixing, don't forget the bolts can just transmit the noise back to the panel.

P clamps are good as pump does not touch the clamp anywhere.

Just to follow this up as I was avoiding actually working and found this still open....

Took the car out yesterday and can confirm the noise was most likely down to the heat of the day now we are no longer in a Greek heatwave. Was much less noticeable :)

Will still look into proper P-clip mounting once I begin the winter rebuild :)
