has anyone got a diagram etc of best way to plumb in a pinto using a standard inlet manifold weber 32/36 with and without auto choke as havnt decided wether gonna to remove and do manual conversion and an expansion tank and a mini heater

and the rad with fan thermo switch in rad

 

got n idea but just want to check best way

It flows the opposite way through the heater than I expected.

I have used a heater control valve/ actuator from a Fiesta and I think it needs reversing now, probably why my small heater is always warm.

You need to have the water flow through the heater all the time, ford just controlled the air flow.

Fiesta unit is nice. Servo operated and it has continuous flow for the bypass, either straight through or diverts through the heater. No fully closed position. Have one in a box with the other round tuits.

Yes the Fiesta unit is an easy fit in the pipework with 4 ports and internal bypass, electrically it just needs an on/off switch on the dash to supply 12V.

The switch toggles between bypass and flow through. Internally it has a simple solenoid actuator.

On/ Off control is plenty for a RH
