Well done Jaimo.

Possibly the best thing you could have done.

I think by the kind of advice given to others on this site, he will sort yours out no problem.

All the best mate, Ken.

Done compression test and all compression good realised artichoke not releasing fully again so that's got to go

Plug 4 was sooty but other 3 fine

The bit of smoke is on overrun none when giving it beans so prob choking up as choke sticking which could be the smoke not oil as rear arch black as well also could be cvh seals not sitting 100% back to standard ones I think

Head went to headmasters for skim, valve relap, pressure test and valve guide check so I know head is good

Either cam or cam bearing needs replacing

Could be a bit of leak at intake as carb on injection head

Getting hot is airlock as heater not very warm

It's a bugger when artichokes get stuck in your throat ain't it.

Disconnect the auto choke and jam it open.

It is not required, just pump throttle a couple of times.

Not really mate but choke sticking on is a big thing for bad running.

Sort that first and see where you are at.

One thing at a time mate.

Did you call Mike as he said to?

Seems a very fair man to me mate. 😀

You just said it yourself mate.

New eyes on.

When I used to go on breakdowns, all I wanted to know off the driver was what was wrong. Never why is it wrong.

Always started from scratch.

He is hoping to get to see him tomorrow but apart from new eyes on don't know what he will do that I haven't but you never know

Micks got years of experience stored in that old head of his. Let him use it.
