well gonna update as i go with this but starting with engine picked this lot up from keith and chris

205 block with .5 oversize pistons in mint nick etc so once collected the engine stand from ian on with the rebuild will update with pics as i go

well got the engine stand off ian now just got to get some type of bolts etc to mount engine onto it

then can start rebuild

B&Q treaded bar buy it by the metre

I wouldn't! Use at least 8.8 rated bolts to mount. B&Q threaded bar is recycled tin cans and not reliable to support a pinto.

You can get two bolts into the top two bellhousing mount holes and two more with nuts into the bellhousing mount holes at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Please don't use B&Q bar.

They would be long bolts though due to spacers on stand mount

Screwfix sell variable quality. Threads and lengths.

Look in online catalogue and get part number before you go.

As stated earlier, 8.8 or equivalent.

Try your local fastener stockist. Mine stocks up to 200mm length in 8.8 and higher grade, usually cap head part threaded.

Got the bolts to fit block to stand and valve stem oil seals and also got a good injection head for bargain £40 pick that up tomorrow hopefully get to start rebuild soon

Hi Jaimo, unless it has already been done, it will be worthwhile re-grinding the valves before fitting mate.

Don't forget to check the flatness of your new head in case it's warped.

Gonna get it skimmed 14thou and check valves reseat or replace and reseat if required but apparently mint

Also now picked up manifold for the zx6 carbs
