Windscreen Wiper Blades

Where do people get replacement wiper blades ? One of mine is starting to split.

get one long one and cut to size

You can get replacement blades from central auto supplies which is now known as motor parts direct i got a pack from there you get two blades i can't remember how long they were but you just cut them to size you need if you can't get any i mite be able to get you some and post them to you hope this helps

OK, I was hoping I could just get plug in replacements. I only looked quickly but couldn't see an easy way to swap over just the rubber.

These new one piece funny shaped things are easy to cut to size Al.

It's just the blade to arm fitment that can be awkward.

Thanks, they look good. The Europa one looks closest. Can't actually tell if the fitment is the same (mine has 2 screws, CBS one has only one) but it looks close enough

I have Caterham S3 arms and blades pre bent. It's as if they were made for it! Had them off eBay £15 pair of arms inc. Wipers. Nothing to adjust out of box straight on car. Most parts fit off the S3 and are good quality.

I used 10" land rover ones which came with multi-fit fittings Under £10 delivered off ebay

I originally used long ones that were chopped so looked like yours. But then i created my own 'blade' wipers from long ones. Had to re-weld a return for the fitting on the wiper arm but now they clip on and off like normal ones.

 

 

work pretty well when i've been caught out in a few heavy downpours. Made a spare which is easy to swap on if needed as you don't have to unscrew etc.
