You could always have the parts powder coated? i did this on a 3 series M20 inlet manifold & matching rocker cover, did them in a really light blue, looked amazing, sometimes its better to look good with out the bling, bling. Also many colours to choose from and no messing. You have 2 large areas to do so a colour would stand out better against the shine of the car. Give it a more new engine look.

Yep, did think about powder coating and even looked at anodizing .

 

But I do like shiny shiny

presumably you could give it a go polishing and if it didn't work you could then still powder coat?

dave you can get a full polising kit from ebay for £15 . just fits on a drill they work brilliant. did some stainless

I know full well about the price after asking for a price on a fully coated 4/2/1 manifold instead of wrapping it! but if you want bling you have to pay for it! mick

It's not that bad.....from what I've seen on camcoat, it's only £100-180 for a 4 cylinder exhaust manifold;
