Hi guys im now at the point where i need some wheels and tyres as the ply circles just wont do for a test run i liked the looks of pro race 1.2 rims 7" fronts and 8" rear but what offset do i need ? As gbs are charging £120 more than demon tweeks....

Its track only anyway so no iva i think the power and wheel alignment would be horrible for the road.

I thought that with the wider 8 inch rims the offset would be different ?

No, the anchor point for the wheels should stay in the designed possition if at all possible.

Ideal possision would be centres of rims in line with kingpins/ball joints.

Draw a plan diagram of a steered wheel station and move the rim in and out from centre of the rim and if you imagine turning the steering you will see why.

It end up helping handling and road feedback no end.

Rang the guys at demon tweeks they said measure the distance from the outside of the arch minus 10mm to the front face of the hub then they sort the rest so ive ordered 4 fronts and 4 rears thanks black friday the offer has ended up costing me more.
