Zero Nose Cone

Hi guys anyone out there fitted a zero nose cone with hinges so it tilts forward would make life easier if you want to work under the cone how did you do it and what hinges did you use any tips please

Wouldn't that make the nose hit the ground before it was open any distance?

I did, worked a treat. Also fitted a restraining strap to stop it hitting the floor.

I used a strip of piano hinge at the bottom. This is preferable to a couple of "normal" hinges as it adds support all the way across.

There's also a couple of nice pics of a chassis mod i did to make the bottom hose a really simple and protected fit.
