I gave up on the mods , fitted old parts and went for s blast. Sorry to those in the north with water up to their armpits, it was a glorious day darn sarth!!

I had a lovely open top drive out today too.......

Heater on, 6CD player loaded with open road driving music,

heated leather seats turned on, new Old Guys Rule baseball cap on,

new Ray Bans.....brilliant.

I've got a baseball cap, a disc come sd card player, a sat nav and of all other things "heated seats both sides"

I've been out,dodging the floods as I go,got the car mot'd, no advisories, then a little spirited driving just to clear the cob webs as you do, very enjoyable

Reason the 2B is off the road is I found out why the tuned engine kept blowing gaskets & oil seals.

The oil pressure relief valve was stuck shut. I thought the occasional 120lb PSI was an electrical gremlin, but clearly it wasnt.

It's now been replaced, & I'm making a start on removing the standard engine & refitting the rorty one.

I'll be even less willing to sell it then.....maybe just a few more years playing Old Boy racer.

Have you bought your frock yet then.

A couple of other things are a must as well.

50p piece spanner.

Combination lock for wallet.

Always mor full malt bottles than empty ones.

A good sense of humour.
