Bob & Mo's 10Th Bbq Weekend 19-21 August

Hi folks, intend playing the skittle matches in teams of 4 souls & thought it may help the evening/game/excitement if we all contributed a small prize for the various winners. Nothing grand, just a silly something that you probably already have kicking around home. Value ?? no more than a few quid or a piece of junk you wish to pass on; disguise it in a non-descript box wrapped in news-paper with only male/female to give a clue as to contents.

 

Thinking of the finger buffet --- are there food allergys we need to inform the pub of?? Already know the needs of our local crew but happy to ask for other requirements.

Cheers Al, new is O.K but 2nd hand/worn out would be fine -- they probably wont be suitable for Wimbledon after -- or even Wombledom.

Have up-dated the list of guests for the skittle evening -- 35 & 7 kids -- would be helpful to have an idea of all who will be arriving on the Friday night -- so we can ensure there is sufficient burgers & sausages.

Is Friday a guest only theme.

John and Liz are coming Friday and I was going to run with them. Wills that be ok or are we imposing on your planned quiet night?

No Ken, every body is a guest --- just want to know who can make it on the Friday. If you go back through the posts the Skittles were first planned for the Friday -- but some are not able to arrive 'til Saturday ( dib-dib-dob ) so changed Skittles to Saturday & we will Host the Friday BBQ for all so guests have no need to worry about an evening meal no matter what time they arrive.

 

Will Add you 3 to the Friday group.

We intend leaving just before lunch so we are on the motorway when the local lunch hour traffic starts and be at yours early to mid afternoon before the mad holiday rush on the 303.
