Zer0 Rad Fan

Am I missing something?

As the fan seems to be.... I took the nose cone off and the fan is not fixed to anything, it just fell off

I would have thought brackets would have been fitted to these points (yellow arrows) but there seems like nothing ever has been.

It was all held in by the fan cowling lip tucking up into the radiator head a couple of mm.

Andi, what are you doing even looking at your car.... The sun is not out yet! I think the fan has escaped as you left it all ne for so long. Shame about the Xmas pressie. Don't think welding to the rad will be a good idea.

Fitted mine with cable ties and large plastic washers.

Glad you have let your car see daylight this year........

Cheers PJ.

Mark B has left the correct link for you.

They are round, without sharp corners and most important only go through the fins once as one end has a fixed load spreader on.

Use with rubber washers on the rad end and you won't even damage the rad fins.

Looks like the fan was not originally made to fit that radiator, but these will do it.

As Tractor says though Andi , that fan is designed to fit on the rear of the rad & suck air through it.

It is possible to wire it so it pushes air back through the rad,

but the blades will be working at much less than 100% efficiency.
