Hoodies With Mx5's

Not as a daily driver....thats a Noxious Gassed Golf, so I can cart my toy planes around.

The MX5 is "OUR" sports car, while the Hood is "MY" sports car.

I also love driving it too, its buzzy & exciting without risking my licence,

whereas the Hood is points just waiting to happen...

I bought my MX5 last month. 2008 1.8ltr. 17,000 miles with full Mazda main dealer service history.

My first sports car... at 58 years old. Now actively looking to buy a Hoodie for weekends.

I've had mine for 3+ years, great fun very practical, but now need to sell it as I don't use the hood :(

The wife says sell the hood!

that's what my swmbo has said 1 in 1 out but she loves going out in my Z3

One wife in, one out seems the correct logical arrangement to me.

I will have to watch out for myself at Stoneleigh now won't I. LoL

I've had 4! 1 mk1 for the Zero I drove for 3 months before breaking, loved it!, Another mk2 I drove for a month before breaking and then selling all of instead of using the 1.8 in the Zero. An abandoned mk1 track project which I broke for the seats (hard way to do it but...) also made a nice profit off selling the bits. Finally I had another mk1 which was to be my rolling restoration daily. Lost interest as it wasn't as good as my first (probably false memories before experiencing the Zero) so that was sold off last weekend for a £100 profit despite no longer having an MOT :D

Would I ever have one again? Maybe. Sadly probably not until they start becoming really expensive. Think I need a heated warehouse to buy one and store whilst they're still cheap.........anyone want to split a warehouse? :p
