I have put it back together and I think it looks great. I really want the pictures to do the job justice so I'm not taking them in the garage. When there is a break in the weather tomorrow I'll take a nice pic and post it. Thanks for following this thread.

I've just been out to the man cave and sprayed the front indicators smoke black. I'll put them back on in the morning and take a pic....another to do list job crossed off ;-)

Lots of Hoods have marginal cooling and looking at the mesh in your grill I would say going for a bigger mesh size may be needed. Use it as is for now but be aware if you start getting a bit hot try without the grill at first and if that sorts it use a bigger mesh.

I had a fine mesh type grill with my Dohc and it got a little too warm.

Changed it for some s/s diamond shape wire form eBay and painted black. 7 still polished stainless but thinking of going Kwaka green with that bit to suit the wings.

Easy done just use old grill as template or start from scratch for better accuracy. Leave 4 long wires where the sucuring screws were and use them to hold it in possition.
