Hood Fitting

I'm fitting caravan awning rail to the top of the windscreen to pick up the hood.It comes ready drilled at about 190 mm centres.I'll also be using Sikaflex.Should I drill any more fixing holes?

When I did mine I kept grinding on glass so I left out the screws and relied upon sikaflex only. It held the roof for a good 3 hours of use in the year it was fitted before I sold the car on.

Sikaflex is a bit ott clear silicone will do

I used cut down self tappers and silk flex 4 screws in total been on now 12 years
