Small Compressor

Wanting a small compressor to run air gun etc for engine pulleys etc

240v plug in type if anyone got one cheapish

You will not get a 12v compressor with enough umpf to use air tools.

If you do manage it, please let me know.

Being at home and not having a compressor to drive any of my many air tools is a bummer.

However I have bought a cheap 24v li ion battery powered impact driver that easily sees off wheel nuts and such.

If you spend a fortune on snap on, you will be able to do almost anything with it that you can do with any 1/2 inch air driver.

I can get mega discounts at a company called parker beumanor in Leicester look them up on line I get up to 70% off depending on product. If anything takes your fancy I could get you a price and pick it up

Now if I was a little younger, or had some room in my shed or garage, I would buy one of those.

Not even £1 per day if it only lasts a year.

Not a fault as such but expect the 13 amp plug fuse to blow occasionally -- the motor start-up current will be right on the limit & the fuse will fail because it gets "tired" of repeatedly running at max amps.

I had to wire in a 16amp supply for my 3hp comp for the above reason. Was worse in the winter with cold starts

Jaimo - what about the Clarke electric impact gun - less than £50 and should do the job.
