Does anyone know which of Ford's Diesel engines can be mated to a type 9 or MT75 gearbox? Can any of them? Did Sierra / Granada diesels have a different box all together?

Hi Ant,

Not thinking of fitting an oil burner tou your hood are you?

I quite fancy having one of the VW 150 Bhp Turbo diesels in mine. Just think 50 MPG and acceleration like mad in any gear (as long as you can live with the tractor noise from the engine comp)
