Gbs Plenum

can any one tell me what throttle body fits the gbs plenum cos the one i have seems to be of centre so it is restricting air flow into plenum

Ford 2.0 ltr Zetec they were selling

yes thats wot i have or have i been sold the wrong one because i got a 1.8 one from scrap yard cos thats all they had which restricts air flow so i saw one on ebay advertised as a 2ltr but when it turned up it is the same as the 1.8

Got a zetec standard tb here you can have if you want it. Not sure if it's a 2.0l or 1.8l

On a standard 1.8 the TB is smaller than either the 2.0 or tbe 130ps 1.8

 

Essentially on the uprated 1.8 zetecs ford used 2.o TBs. Hence why swapping TBs is the start of power mods

Does anyone know of one bigger than the 2.0 ltr with the same stud pattern?

 

The only draw back with the plenham is it can run out of air at high rpm, although this is above torque curve, and for drivers like me, who are adverse to valve bounce, it won't make any difference, probably a good thing really self restriction :-)
