Got to do patio never tried laying slabs or similar but confident to attempt decking i think but heard its slippy

I got to clear grass area what ever way i go so any tips

Or anyone local fancy lending a hand

I did my garden last year myself. A mix of decking, fake grass and a small patio area.

 

Things I learnt....

1. Decking isn't that hard

2. I hate digging soil out

3. Don't mix cement by hand

 

 

Slabbing is much easier with 2 people. Hardcore base whackered down, and then lay slabs on a full bed of mortar.

 

YouTube and Google is very handy

Builders are laying my patio at the minute same method as above, hardcore wackered and mortar bed

What sort of money and area dan

60sqm just labour and base materials £1k we have supplied the slabs. They been here building here for the last 5months so price may have been influenced by that
