Motorcycle Lift

Recommended Posts

The lifting platform remains parallel to the ground --- your car, if lifted at just one end will have an increasing angle to ground & the jack platform & could slide off the jack as it's being lifted.

I have got one but never thought of using it for my car !

I normally just use a Trolley Jack and a length of wood then put car on Axle Stands for safety

Yes, and I would not again.

May have been the one used, but cars are heavier than bikes and it came down a bit to quick for my liking, however hard you tried to ease it down.

Would agree with Florin, they remain parallel to the ground, so you have to be careful where you are lifting.

It's a great idea till your car slips off and causes injury or damage, it's not designed for cars. Get a decent 2 ton trolley jack with rubber jack pad and some half decent axle stands to hold it once up.

Thanks for info, I saw it on a kit car forum on Facebook, thought it looked a bit dubious but the bloke swore by it (or maybe swore at it!! )
