i'm picking up a set of 15x6.5jj alloys on sunday, original 5 spoke hood wheels by wolfrace.

I will be looking at tyres once i have them. What tyre profiles are people using? also brands to stay away from on these cars.

hi, I run 195/50/15's which i think are a pretty common size on these cars. You don't need to go too wide as these cars are light.

There are loads available in that size too. I run uniroyal rainsport 3's which cost be £48 all in per corner. I don't push hard though so can't really say if they are good for that or not but they seem ok to me on a spirited drive.

I'm running with 205/50/15 Yokohama and give me good grip (haven't been out to much in the wet though) but have heard that 195's give a better ride

The 6.5J might limit your choice. Are you sure they are Wolfrace not Array

195 50 15 is a commen size on most kits. Tyre choice should be decided by how you intend to drive, I use Toyo r1r at the minute as the car is mostly used on track days I've used pilot sport 3 before that when it was a road focused car, good in all weathers.

not sure if they are wolfrace or array, im going off what the seller has told me. they do have yellow robin hood wheel centers though.

sounds like 195/50's are the size to go with.

thanks for your responses.

205/50/15 gives the same rolling diameter as the Sierra wheels so worth noting if you have sierra clocks or are using speedo cable. Cable turns 1000 revs per mile std for ford.
