I'd prefer a lunchtime well before Xmas (before it gets too busy). The RH7 will be in that garage before Xmas so happy to travel in the tin top (with heater, doors & windows! :) )

Do you have any places in mind?

My apologies David, have been busy fitting a new deck to our boat & forgot to reply.

Bear & Ragged Staff is a good venue for a meal at any time, need more replies from our members & will then try to arrange a get together; which we shall call our Christmas meal regardless of the date chosen.

We are exhibiting at the Warwick Centre 21/22/23rd October & November sees us at Bath & West Showground for the 3/4th & a family party on 9/10/11th .

The meet can be at any of the dates above ( without us ) & will be happy to co-ordinate any proposals, will be great if members old & new can find a slot for a group event -- we shall be there if possible.

Just need to add that dates when we are around would be good too!!!!

Hi,

Only just picked your thread up and like the idea of a gathering, count me in (maybe others in my cell may attend, also the Mrs). Been working hard to get the car through the Government bits but now road legal.

I am between Basingstoke and Newbury but happy to travel, might not be in the kit as have no weatherproofing as yet but would be great to catch up on the scene.

Regards Jim

So far, we're quite quiet in December, so we'll be interested in something.

Will have words with the Bear & Ragged Staff to see if any dates are still available for a week-end -- late November or early December.

The Bear & Ragged Staff have room still available for the following:-

November 18th & 25th --- December 2nd all 3 dates are a Sunday & we have spaces ATM for 10 guests; if there are more they shall require notice of meal choices ( We hope there are more )

We can do any of the above --- please post your preferences & we shall arrange a date suitable to the majority.

Tried not to think about Christmas as we have only just come back from our summer holiday.

Us two are up for the Bear with the Ragged Ass , and sure R & M will tag along as well.

2nd December feels more Christmassy than November (but can do any date).

Cheers Steve, looks like a meet for the 2nd --- but will wait 'til week-end to allow others to make known their preferences.

Please shout before Sunday evening if interested, will go firm on the date then.
