Ground clearance

Hi yall

what is the rule of thumb for sump to ground clearance please as I am about to set my engine mounts and would appreciate your input

Mine is about inch and a quarter and I wouldn’t recommend it

No rule as such, as high as you can get it

Mines about 5.5" which is the same as the floor pan. Lowest point is a brace under the gearbox at 4.5" but I have caught that a few times

Mine is 3" after winding up the front suspension, but I have fitted a sump guard and I still catch it occasionally.
