How to adjust headlights

Feel like I have been spamming the forum recently

Hopefully another easy one, headlight adjustment.  How are the stock GBS lights adjusted?

The IVA guy asked me the question and I didn’t know for sure; I assume they pivot, which I can do by just moving them.

But do they move on both axis e.g up/down and side to side? 

May seem like a daft one but I have searched and can’t find an answer.

If they are the standard headlamp units they adjust by the locating threaded tube and tightening nut. The headlamp has a slot allowing the adjustment  for the beam up or down and can be swiveled on the locating tube for left and right. All manual and without separate aiming mechanism.

These type of headlamps have been used virtually since cars/horse drawn carts were invented and very little has been done to them since (if it works don't mess with it)

This seems like a strange question to ask as my IVA inspector just manipulated them slightly to get the beam spot on without even a word.

Yea I thought it was odd but thought I might have been missing a trick.

I think they have basic questions to ask to see whether you really built it yourself
