Well,,

 

it passed i only had to add two locking nuts and two tie wraps, and was ADVISED to clean the float switch in my brake master cylinder (the test button on the top worked)and add some nylocks to the master cylinder when i got home

 

Speedo cal (couldnt do machine broke it wasnt me)

emissions (its running a bit lean its a pass but to make it run better make it a bit richer.

on the ramps all looks good under here ooh add nuts and ties here and here

set the lights, wagle the steering

 

onto the brakes machine, pass

 

ok drive it outside for noise test 97 db at 4300, no rev counter (he said it would be ok we will guess it oh ok )

 

pull it round the front and i will go and feed the figures into the master computer.

 

97 miles on the motorway only a couple of people tried to kill me (lorrys tsk tsk)

 

so thankx to you all and any help i can offer others stick it on here or mail me.

 

just the dvla on thursday now must find a trailer (what a farse)

 

i passed SVA yiippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i had my test at Nottingham, firm but fair, they certainly know the score and are not silly silly about little things recommended having your test at Nottingham

No you are not really stupid it is just a paper ex providing your VIN and engine numbers are as stated it’s just a formality. Remember to take your donors V5, Robin Hood receipts, MAC, insurance and cash for tax

If you want to keep a copy of your MAC get it copied before you go as that is the last you will see of it.

The nylocks you had to fit on your master cylinder, are these the 2 that hold it to the sevo? or servo to pedal box ?

yes i think a bigger area at the shows would be a good idea, just for my grin

 

nylocks yes the ones on the back of the fire wall holding the servo on and the ones on the front holding the master cylinder on oops slight over sight. but will be sorted shortly

 

the secret is shhhh dont tell anyone(else it wont be a secret)

 

1.read the SVA book

2. look at what other people have failed on and make sure you dont

3. the best of all try and go with somone else before your test
