Robin hood 2b

It was running with log book. Stripped to rebuild then sat a couple of years.

2b carbon effect wings

Type 9 box

Capri 2.8 LSD

Prop

No engine

All panels etc bonnet to rebuild

Cobra bucket seats

Needs rest of interior clocks.etc

What is it worth as a project to put back on the road. Needs engine.

Been offered £500 would have thought more in bits. IVA cost more than that.

I agree - Sounds like they are after a log book if only offering 500 - then sell the bits and recoup all of that and more. Type 9 box and  LSD would bring in most of that these days!

It all depends what condition it's in - is it wishbone chassis or sliding pillar etc?

If it only needs an engine and an mot to get it back on the road, I'd think it's worth £1500 at least. As it's been stripped then maybe more like a grand. Still probably more than the sum of the parts. Someone who wants it for £500 just wants to make a quick buck.

Yes it's stripped. 2b wishbone front but Sierra rear setup.

Would need engine dash clocks.

Still in two minds. Not had time to build it so wether to sell and pickup a running mx5 for fun or hand on and get it rebuilt.

Well if you decide that £500 is enough I'll give you £510 😀

I went to look at a running unregistered car & that went for £1100 or just under, bearing in mind that had to be completed, £300, then tested £700 & finally registered £150 (I think) yours just needs an engine, MOT & away they go, although we're getting to the end of the season for most people. Oh & that car didn't have a screen or weather gear, don't know about yours.
